Chemotherapy, a new hairstyle and boyfriend’s support: Bianca Balti showed how she is being treated for cancer

Bianca Balti, who was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer last year, shared new photos on social media on World Cancer Day.

The 40-year-old Italian supermodel showed how her first and last days of chemotherapy went, how her eldest daughter Matilda shaved her head at home with a razor and how she then went to finish the procedure at a salon; showed how she worked on fashion shoots, how she danced with her daughters for TikTok and how her boyfriend Alessandro Cutrera supported her

“February 4th. World Cancer Day. It was always just a random day that I was reminded of through some Instagram posts*. Cancer couldn’t get into my head, let alone my body,” Bianca wrote under the photos.

“On October 14th, I started chemotherapy, which ended on January 27th, but to my great surprise, the last few months have felt more alive than ever. I no longer took my life for granted, and my gratitude was at its peak. Everything began to feel like a blessing. It’s been hard, and it’s not over yet, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. They say, ‘What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger,’ but I believe that what didn’t kill me made me love life so much more.”

Last September, Bianca Balti revealed that she had been diagnosed with stage three ovarian cancer. Two years earlier, the model had undergone a double mastectomy due to a genetic predisposition to breast and ovarian cancer. At the time, she had postponed having her ovaries removed because she planned to have more children.
