His parents called him stupid and lazy because he couldn’t read until he was 31 😢 but years later he became a famous actor, loved by millions and won many awards 😯 You’ll be surprised to know who this wonderful boy is now

Henry Winkler’s path to success was far from easy.
He had difficulties at school, which led to severe punishments from his parents, and after a while, insults and name-calling, which he promised never to do to his children, affected his self-confidence.
It was only decades later that he discovered there was a reason for his difficulties, and knowing how much it had set him back, he wanted to use his diagnosis to inspire others, especially children.
Although Winkler is a successful actor, he has not had it easy. In fact, he has had to work very hard to achieve all his achievements.
And it all started when he was a child.

“My parents believed in education. They thought I was lazy. They called me lazy. They called me stupid.”
But Winkler didn’t believe his parents. He thought he was trying his best.
Despite difficulties in high school, Winkler graduated from Yale University with a Master of Fine Arts degree.
However, after finishing his studies, he again encountered some problems. Reading scripts turned out to be quite difficult.
Although he eventually landed the role of Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli on Happy Days, he admitted that he had a difficult time during the table read.

“I didn’t read books until I was 31, when I was diagnosed with dyslexia. Books terrified me. They made me nervous,” he said.
Although Winkler still faces learning difficulties, he has achieved great success. In addition to numerous awards during his Hollywood career, he has written several books, and it was recently announced that his memoir will be published in 2024.
