Another scandal has erupted between former spouses Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. It was provoked by a new track by the 47-year-old rapper, in which his and Kardashian’s daughter North sings together with P. Diddy , who is accused of rape and sex trafficking.
Yesterday, Kanye announced a new album, for which he chose a swastika as the cover, and posted two songs from it. The first track, Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine, features P. Diddy, his son Christian (also accused of rape) and 11-year-old North.
The song begins with P. Diddy (Sean Combs) thanking Kanye for supporting him during a tough time when everyone turned their backs on him, and West in turn says that Combs was practically a father figure to him. After that, North’s part begins with the lyrics, “When you see me shining, you see the light.” In another track, “World War 3,” Kanye mentions reading Mein Kampf before bed and the fact that he has been accused of anti-Semitism and compared to Adolf Hitler.
According to TMZ , 44-year-old Kim Kardashian tried to prevent the song from being published. Kanye himself confirmed this. Shortly before the album’s announcement, he published fragments of correspondence with his ex-wife. In it, Kim appeals to the fact that she owns the rights to the name of her eldest daughter with the rapper, and he replies: “Fix this or I will start a war. Neither of us will recover from the consequences, you will have to kill me.”
Judging by Kanye West’s subsequent series of posts on social media, he was prompted to take provocative actions by Kardashian’s obstruction of his communication with his children. “I don’t want to just ‘see’ my children. I want to raise them. I should be able to decide what school they go to, who they are friends with, who they sleep over at, whether my daughters wear lipstick or perfume.” When I see my children, it’s more like visiting a prison!” the rapper said.
According to the Daily Mail , Kim Kardashian intends to prevent the official release of the track featuring her daughter and will do everything possible to remove it from social networks. To this end, she went to court.
