Several photos show Gere and Silva running through the ocean with their sons, Alexander, 5, and James, 4. Silva also shared a heartwarming picture of Gere with their three boys and her 11-year-old son Albert, all leaning their heads together.

“Happy 1st Spanish Father’s Day to the dad of the world,” Silva wrote alongside the photo. Her caption in Spanish read, “Feliz primer día del padre español ♥️♥️ Te queremos!!! #fathersday #diadelpadre,” which translates to, “Happy First Spanish Father’s Day! We love you!”
Additionally, Silva posted a sweet photo on her Instagram Story showing the Father’s Day drawings made by their kids, along with the message, “Happy Father’s Day!”

In addition to their three younger children, Gere is also a father to 24-year-old son Homer, whom he shares with ex-wife Carey Lowell.
In a recent interview with ELLE España, Silva gushed about their life in Spain. “Richard is a very devoted and present father. He loves reading them stories. It seems like an idyllic picture, but it’s true. He’s a great dad,” Silva shared, adding that while Gere doesn’t cook, he plays the guitar when she does.
Gere also spoke about his renewed sense of happiness since moving to Spain. “You’re seeing us at our best. We’re happier than ever,” he said. “Alejandra is happy, and if she’s happy, I’m happy.”
