Michelle Phillips, the sole surviving member of the iconic folk-rock band The Mamas & the Papas, stepped out in Los Angeles showing off her timeless style.

The 80-year-old singer was snapped on a casual stroll, wearing a black and white striped shirt, black trousers and sunglasses, embodying a classic Hollywood look.

Phillips co-founded the Mamas & the Papas in 1965 with Denny Doherty, her ex-husband John Phillips, and Cass Elliott. Known for hits such as “California Dreamin'” and “Monday, Monday, Monday,” the group released five studio albums and received four Grammy Award nominations, winning one in 1967. Their harmonious vocals and unique blend of folk and rock defined an era, leaving an indelible mark on the music industry.

In 1998, the Mamas & the Papas were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, recognizing their significant contribution to music history. Cas Elliott was posthumously awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2022, with Michelle Phillips and Owen Elliott-Kugell delivering heartfelt speeches.

Their music continues to resonate with listeners, and their story remains an important part of the cultural landscape. Phillips, as the last surviving member of the band, continues their legacy.
