The actor’s family acknowledged his death in a statement on Monday, and the cause is still being investigated.
Actor Angus Cloud died on Monday, which was heartbreaking news. The Euphoria star was 25 years old.
Cloud’s family issued a statement to TMZ, stating, “It is with heavy hearts that we had to bid goodbye to a beautiful human today. Angus was special to all of us in many ways: as an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son.
While what happened to Angus is unknown, his family stated, “Last week, he buried his father and struggled greatly with this loss.” The only comfort we have is that Angus has been reunited with his father, who was his best buddy. Angus was upfront about his struggles with mental health, and we hope that his death serves as a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this alone in silence.”
“We hope that the world remembers him for his sense of humor, laughter, and love for all. We beg for privacy at this time because we are still grieving this heartbreaking loss.”
TMZ later stated that Cloud’s mother called 911 about 11:30 a.m. Monday to report a “possible overdose,” but authorities have not revealed a cause of death and are still investigating.

Cloud is most known for his role as Fezco on the HBO drama series Euphoria, which also stars Zendaya, Maude Apatow, and Sydney Sweeney. He has also appeared in The Line, North Hollywood, and several music videos for singers such as Karol G, Juice WRLD, and Becky G.
According to Variety, Cloud finished filming his role in Universal’s untitled 2024 monster thriller shortly before his death. He also completed filming Your Lucky Day, a horror movie whose release date has yet to be disclosed.
