Relationships typically come with expectations. You expect your spouse to support you through all of your highs and lows. In other circumstances, such as with the celebrity pair Justin and Hailey Bieber, such support may be questioned, especially following Justin’s comment about his wife landing a Vogue cover.
Justin shared Hailey’s Vogue cover image on Instagram, along with an odd remark.
Justin originally wrote, “Yo, this reminds me of when Hailey and I had a big fight. I told Hails that she would never appear on the cover of Vogue. Yikes, I know, so nasty. For some reason, I felt extremely degraded.
I felt compelled to retaliate. I believe that as we grow older, we realize that getting even does not benefit anyone. We’re simply prolonging what we actually desire, which is intimacy and connection. So, sweetie, you already know, but forgive me for assuming you wouldn’t receive a Vogue cover because I was clearly mistaken.”
This caption has been deleted and replaced by a series of emojis, “🤷🫵🏻🫶🏼🥹.” However, admirers did not forget what was originally said. The comment section of this page has been swamped with criticism about Justin’s lack of support for his wife.
Hailey had her supporters.
Despite Justin’s unsupportive post, several of Hailey’s supportive celebrity friends left complimentary remarks. Her close friends, the Kardashians, wrote, “OBSESSED!!!!” You are stunning! ♡,” “Hailey!!!!!” “So beautiful 🤍,” “Weeeeeee ❤️❤️❤️.”
As for the comments on Justin’s post… They were nothing short of critical.
Fans were unimpressed by Justin’s reaction to his wife’s incredible Vogue accomplishment. Others went as follows: “Leave your husband,” “He doesn’t deserve you babe,” and at one point, “May this love never find me I’d rather be a cat lady.”
It could all have been a huge misunderstanding.
Some couples support one other in their own unique ways, even if it means sharing their doubts about their relationship. According to Page Six, an insider revealed that it was Justin’s way of saying, “I’m sorry for doubting you, congratulations.” That’s all it was. “[Hailey] understands his personality.”
Hailey did not respond publicly. She has yet to respond to her husband’s since-deleted caption.
