On August 16, Madonna turned 67. The singer celebrated her birthday in style in Italy, surrounded by her six children, her 28-year-old boyfriend Akim Morris, and friends. The star shared details of the celebration on social media.
Madonna admitted that on this birthday she fulfilled her long-time dream. Together with her family, the singer visited the Siena Palio – a traditional horse race that has been held in Siena (Tuscany) since 1482 every year on August 16. “There are no words to describe the excitement, tension and solemnity of this event! It is truly a sacred ritual, when thousands of people freeze in silence before the start of the races! The races themselves are impossible to describe. Grazie Mille! Dreams come true! Happy birthday to me!” – the singer wrote.
The star celebrated the holiday with a noisy party, which brought together her friends, boyfriend Akim Morris and children: 28-year-old daughter Lourdes, 25-year-old son Rocco, 19-year-old David Banda, 19-year-old Mercy and 13-year-old twins Stella and Esther. The singer appeared before the guests in a silk trench coat and dress, which she later changed to a lace corset. She completed the look with red lipstick and lace gloves. The star’s birthday cake was unusual – in the shape of the Labubu toy , popular this summer , on which was written “Happy Birthday, Madudu.”
