At 94 years old, Barbara Eden still works, walks confidently in heels, insists she feels “young,” and strolls hand-in-hand with her husband. She shows no signs of slowing down.

Despite being well into her nineties, Eden remains remarkably active. Recently spotted alongside her 80-year-old husband, she appeared radiant and full of energy. She continues to maintain a busy routine and has openly stated that she intends to keep going “as long as I possibly can.”

For many, the idea that age is just a number is a comforting belief — but Barbara Eden is someone who truly embodies it. Even in her nineties, she lives with the same vibrancy she showed decades ago, refusing to retreat into the quiet life that many older celebrities opt for. She has continued appearing at public events, keeping her name and presence widely admired.

One of her most memorable recent outings was at the Make-A-Wish Greater LA Wish Gala in November 2022, where she appeared with her husband looking joyful and elegant. Her warm glow made her the center of attention among attendees.

Her past appearances have been equally stunning. At a 2019 tribute event for television comedy legends, Eden wore a long, striped dress with mesh sleeves, accessorized with striking jewelry and a matching handbag. Many noted that she looked far younger than her actual age at the time — 88.

Her most recent public look featured black leggings, a long-sleeved top, and coordinating accessories. Whether dressed formally or casually, Eden consistently presents herself with poise and impeccable style. Even during a home tour for People magazine, she greeted the crew in fashionable clothes and heels, moving effortlessly through her home.

Fans regularly praise her appearance and spirit. Comments on social media describe her as “amazing,” “adorable,” and possessing a rare “spark.” One admirer summed it up perfectly: “Her body, soul, and mind are still as sharp as they were when she was young… and she’s still walking in heels!”

A Life Full of Energy

These days, Eden enjoys a peaceful life with her husband of more than 30 years in a charming home with scenic views. She still works, manages the household, spends time with their dog, and remains dedicated to staying active.

Until a few years ago, she regularly attended the gym, lifting weights and joining spin classes. Now she works with a personal trainer at home, practicing strength exercises and walking around her tennis court.

Her social life is just as lively — filled with longtime friends and colleagues. Eden has also expressed deep gratitude for having a career she truly loves. She once said:

“It was an incredible stroke of luck to find a career I enjoy. My heart aches for people like my father who had to go to work every day doing something they disliked. I love my job. I’m still working.”

Her youthful appearance, she believes, comes not only from healthy habits but from maintaining a youthful mindset. “I still feel young,” she has said more than once.

She continues to schedule public appearances and stays eager to connect with fans. Even in 2021, she already had events planned well into the following year. “If I’m nearby, I’ll be there. I love it,” she remarked.

Best known for her iconic role in I Dream of Jeannie, Eden has no intention of stepping away from the public eye. She understands that aging brings limitations, but she embraces life with determination:

“I’ll keep doing what I do until I can’t.”

Grateful for her life, she cherishes the time she spends with her husband, Jon Eicholtz, whom she married in 1991. He is her third husband; her previous marriages were to Charles Donald (1977–1982) and to actor Michael Ansara (1958–1974), with whom she had her only son, Matthew, who tragically passed away in 2001 at age 35.
