Shakira was visibly moved as her sons, Milan and Sasha, joined her on stage during a live show in Argentina.
The 48-year-old superstar performed her 2023 song Acróstico (or Acrostic in English), which features vocals from her children. Milan, 12, and Sasha, 10, wore matching light blue suits and received enthusiastic applause from the audience as they stepped onto the stage.

Shakira dazzled in a baby blue dress with a metallic corset-style bodice and pleated detailing. After the performance, Milan gave his mother a kiss on the cheek while Sasha waved to the cheering crowd.

Acróstico is a heartfelt tribute to Shakira’s children, structured so that the first letter of each line consecutively forms meaningful words.
The performance was part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran stadium tour, which has become the highest-grossing Latin tour ever for a female artist. Shakira was recently honored with Billboard’s Global Touring Icon award. Launched in April 2024 to promote the album of the same name—which topped Billboard’s Top Latin Albums and Latin Pop Albums charts—the tour will encompass 82 shows, concluding in February 2026.
The show comes after Shakira’s ex, Gerard Piqué, ended his three-year relationship with Clara Chía in April. The former Barcelona star, who retired from football in 2022, has long had his personal life scrutinized since his 10-year relationship with Shakira.
Spanish journalist Adriana Dorronsoro, reporting for Vamos a ver via Marca, confirmed the split, though the reasons remain unclear. Chía, 26, works in sports entertainment, and the couple frequently shared social media posts together. Piqué divides his time between Barcelona and Miami, where his children live, and previous reports suggest that maintaining separate lives was a challenge in his relationship.
Shakira and Piqué ended their 11-year relationship in June 2022, sharing two children, Milan and Sasha. Since then, Shakira has referenced her ex in her music, often with pointed lyrics. Piqué has emphasized his gratitude for family, friends, and the life he’s lived, despite public scrutiny.
