By now, it’s no secret that tensions within the Beckham family have been running high — and at the heart of the fallout is what should have been one of the happiest days of their lives: Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding to Nicola Peltz.
Earlier this week, Brooklyn posted a lengthy, six-page statement on Instagram accusing his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, of repeatedly disrespecting his wife and attempting to undermine their relationship. Among the most explosive claims was his allegation that his mother disrupted his and Nicola’s wedding reception in a deeply uncomfortable way.

Guests back Brooklyn’s version
Two people who attended the couple’s 2022 wedding have now publicly supported Brooklyn’s account of events, specifically regarding Victoria Beckham’s behavior during what was meant to be the newlyweds’ first dance.

DJ Fat Tony, who performed at the ceremony, shared a tongue-in-cheek Instagram video featuring a character from Motherland dancing wildly. The clip was overlaid with text reading, “POV: Victoria Beckham during Brooklyn’s first dance.” He captioned it, “Actual footage — it’s true, I was there!”
Tony’s partner, Stavros Agapiou, also weighed in, writing in a now-deleted comment, “I was there and she did — he’s telling the truth.” He later added, “Good on him for finally speaking out!”

Brooklyn says he was “humiliated”
In his statement, Brooklyn described feeling “humiliated” and deeply uncomfortable, claiming his mother “hijacked” the moment that had been planned weeks in advance for him and Nicola.
“My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife,” he wrote. “Instead of my romantic dance with Nicola, she was waiting for me on the stage. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of 500 guests.”
While Brooklyn didn’t elaborate on what made the dance inappropriate, a Page Six source alleged that Victoria wrapped her arms around him and “nuzzled” his neck during the slow dance.
A previous People report also cited a wedding guest who said Victoria’s dance with Brooklyn “wasn’t appropriate,” adding fuel to the controversy.

What allegedly happened that night
According to insiders, singer Marc Anthony — a longtime friend of the Beckham family — performed at the wedding as a gift. Before starting a song, he reportedly called Brooklyn to the stage and announced, “The most beautiful woman in the room tonight… Victoria Beckham!”

Sources claim Nicola was devastated, believing her mother-in-law had coordinated the moment in advance. One insider said the room fell silent as Victoria began slow-dancing with her son, and Nicola left in tears.
However, another source told People that Brooklyn and Nicola had already shared their official first dance earlier in the evening, and that the later moment with Marc Anthony was part of a more general dance segment that included other family members.

Family rift deepens
Brooklyn’s statement went beyond the wedding incident. He accused his parents of treating their family like a “brand,” spreading “countless lies” to the press, and blocking him on social media after he distanced himself.
Victoria Beckham has not publicly responded to the allegations. Meanwhile, Brooklyn’s younger brother Cruz liked a social media post mocking Brooklyn’s version of the dance.

David Beckham has also avoided addressing the claims directly, though many interpreted his recent comments on CNBC — about children being allowed to make mistakes — as a subtle response.
As the drama continues to unfold, public opinion remains sharply divided, with social media users split over where the truth lies in the Beckham family feud.
