Hollywood veteran Bridget Fonda was spotted for the first time in two months as she stepped out in Los Angeles on Tuesday, looking slimmer than ever.
The 62-year-old, who celebrated her birthday last month, appeared to have shed around 100 pounds over the past year, showing off a smaller waist, leaner arms and legs, and a more defined face while dressed casually.

Fonda wore a colorful cardigan layered over a brown shirt and green top, paired with black slacks, sneakers, and a black crossbody bag. She carried herself with a spring in her step as she enjoyed the outing.

A nutrition expert shared insights on how Fonda might have achieved such rapid results. Dr. Wilks, a Southern California-based weight-loss specialist, told Daily Mail: “It appears she’s lost significant weight recently, possibly up to 100 pounds in the past year. Medication could have played a role, such as GLP-1 drugs like Zepbound or Ozempic, which help with consistent weight loss.”

“If the transformation was natural, it likely involved drastically reducing sugar, carbs, and dairy,” he added, noting that this approach would cut out pizza, pasta, bread, and desserts, while emphasizing meat, vegetables, and healthy carbohydrates. He also highlighted protein-focused diets like Keto or Mediterranean, which include lean proteins, vegetables, whole grains, fruits, and healthy fats.
Bridget, daughter of Peter Fonda and Susan Brewer, has not commented publicly on her weight loss.

Fonda was a prominent actress during the 1990s. She earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Mandy Rice-Davies in Scandal (1989) and appeared in The Godfather Part III (1990) alongside Andy Garcia.

She starred in Single White Female (1992), Singles (1992), and became an action star in Point of No Return (1993), a remake of La Femme Nikita. Her later work included It Could Happen to You (1994), Balto (1995), City Hall (1996), Jackie Brown (1997), A Simple Plan (1998), Lake Placid (1999), and Kiss of the Dragon (2001). Her last screen appearance was in the 2002 TV miniseries Snow Queen.

Fonda dated Eric Stoltz for eight years and married composer Danny Elfman in 2003, with whom she has a son, Oliver.

In February 2003, Fonda was involved in a serious car accident on the Pacific Coast Highway near Malibu, fracturing her vertebrae. The injury led her to step away from acting and live a more private life.
In recent years, Fonda and Elfman were rarely seen together, sparking speculation about their marriage, though they were photographed together outside their Los Angeles home in April 2025.
Additionally, Elfman has faced and publicly denied multiple sexual harassment allegations from a former protégé.
