Pink denies shock split from husband Carey Hart after 20 years of marriage in bizarre video

After reports surfaced claiming the pair had separated again, the 46-year-old singer responded with a tongue-in-cheek Instagram video. In it, she joked that she had just “found out” about her own breakup while heading out for a beer, sarcastically asking whether someone should also inform her children. She pointed out that her 14-year-old and 9-year-old were apparently unaware of the supposed split and pivoted to suggest people focus on more serious issues instead — referencing topics like the Epstein files, systemic racism and misogyny in sports.

Dismissing the claims as “fake news,” Pink told fans the rumors weren’t true and reiterated her love for them. In the caption, she added that if news doesn’t come directly from her, it shouldn’t be believed — though she playfully hinted that life can always surprise you.

The couple, who wed in Costa Rica in January 2006, share two children: Willow Sage and Jameson Moon. They were last seen together publicly in September during an outing in New York City, where observers noted they weren’t wearing wedding rings and appeared somewhat tense.

Speculation intensified after Pink didn’t publicly acknowledge their wedding anniversary this January — a noticeable shift from the heartfelt tribute she posted in 2025. At the time, she shared a cozy ski photo and reflected on taking a leap of faith by marrying Hart 19 years earlier, calling their love story “gritty and sweet” and thanking him for standing by her through it all.

Hart, for his part, posted a loving birthday message to Pink just five months ago, praising her as an incredible mother, partner and role model, and comparing her to “fine wine.”

The two first met at the 2001 Summer X Games in Philadelphia. Their relationship had its ups and downs early on, and in a bold move, it was Pink who proposed — holding up a sign reading “Will You Marry Me?” during one of Hart’s motocross races. When he didn’t immediately respond, she flashed another sign that said, “I’m serious!” prompting him to pull over mid-race and accept.

They briefly separated in 2008 but reconciled the following year, ultimately calling off their divorce. Over the years, Pink has been candid about the realities of long-term marriage, admitting that their relationship has included both deep admiration and moments of intense frustration. In a 2017 interview, she described Hart as steady and devoted, while also confessing there were times she felt they had nothing in common. Still, she emphasized that monogamy takes effort — and that putting in the work has kept their bond strong.

For now, Pink’s message is clear: reports of another breakup are unfounded, and if anything major changes, she’ll be the one to say it.
