The 24-year-old, formerly known as Blanket, was photographed grabbing lunch with friends in Los Angeles on Sunday. Dressed casually in a blue “Quint’s Shark Fishing” T-shirt and black pants, Bigi appeared relaxed as he strolled along. At one point, however, something seemed to catch his eye, prompting an animated facial expression.

Unlike his siblings, Paris Jackson and Prince Jackson, Bigi has largely stayed out of the spotlight. Still, he has occasionally used his voice to address issues he cares about. In a 2021 interview with Good Morning Britain, he spoke about climate change, emphasizing that his generation understands its urgency and the need for action.

His outing comes as anticipation builds in Hollywood for an upcoming biopic about his father’s life. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the film traces Michael’s journey from his early days in Gary, Indiana, to becoming one of the biggest global superstars in music history. The project stars his cousin, Jaafar Jackson — the son of Jermaine Jackson — in the lead role.
Born via surrogate in 2002, Bigi made headlines as an infant when Michael briefly held him over a hotel balcony in Berlin to greet fans below. The pop icon died in 2009 at age 50 after suffering cardiac arrest linked to acute propofol intoxication. The powerful anesthetic had been administered by his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, as a sleep aid.

Michael’s death prompted an outpouring of global tributes and culminated in a widely watched memorial service on July 7, 2009, at what is now the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. A private funeral followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California. In 2011, Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to four years in prison.

Over the course of his legendary career, Michael Jackson became one of the best-selling artists of all time, earning 13 Grammy Awards and numerous honors, including induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Grammy Legend Award.
