64 year-old Jennifer Jason Leigh proved she still commands attention on the red carpet with a rare public appearance that highlighted her youthful glow.

The 64-year-old actress, who rose to fame in the 1982 hit Fast Times at Ridgemont High and later earned an Oscar nomination for The Hateful Eight, stepped out on March 19 for the Los Angeles premiere of Netflix’s Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen.

The actress looked radiant at The Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, wearing an elegant cream tweed ensemble. Her outfit featured a knee-length skirt, coordinating jacket with three-quarter sleeves, and a blouse accented by a black bow. She completed the look with black heels, a small handbag, and softly curled golden hair, while her glowing complexion and subtle makeup added to her fresh, youthful appearance.

Fans will be seeing more of Jennifer soon, as she has signed on to multiple new projects. Her latest series, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, executive produced by the Duffer Brothers of Stranger Things fame, follows a couple in the tense days leading up to their ill-fated wedding. Jennifer plays Victoria, the groom’s fiercely controlling mother.

She has also joined the cast of Prime Video’s upcoming cop thriller Bishop, portraying Jillian Graves, and will appear in High Potential as well as Hulu’s legal drama All’s Fair.

Off-screen, Jennifer is a devoted mother to her 16-year-old son, Rohmer, whom she shares with director Noah Baumbach. The pair married in 2005, separated in 2010, and finalized their divorce in 2013. Baumbach later drew inspiration from their split for his film Marriage Story, which Jennifer reportedly supported after reading the script. He has since welcomed two children with partner Greta Gerwig, and the former couple continue to co-parent their son.

Jennifer has spoken openly about balancing work and motherhood, saying she dedicates all her free time to her son. She has also described parenthood as transformative, noting that the love she feels for her child surpasses anything she had previously experienced — a perspective that continues to shape her life both on and off screen.
