Brady Bunch star Susan Olsen spotted in rare outing wearing a Gudetama T-shirt

Susan Olsen was recently seen stepping out in public.

The 63-year-old The Brady Bunch alum made a rare appearance in Los Angeles on Tuesday, July 29. She was photographed arriving at a post office in a white SUV before hopping out to collect her mail, dressed in a relaxed, casual outfit.

Olsen wore a black T-shirt featuring the popular Japanese egg character Gudetama, paired with burgundy shorts, dark flip-flops, and sunglasses. Her platinum blonde hair, complete with her signature bangs, was worn loose as she quickly handled her errand.

She’s best remembered for playing Cindy Brady on the classic sitcom The Brady Bunch, which aired from 1969 to 1974. After the show, she appeared in projects such as Pacific Blue and The Young and the Restless. According to IMDb, her most recent film credit is the 2021 holiday movie Blending Christmas.

In recent years, Olsen has largely stayed out of the spotlight, choosing a more private life and only occasionally attending public events. One of her latest appearances came in March, when she reunited with former co-stars Barry Williams, Mike Lookinland, and Christopher Knight at The Chocolate Expo in Long Island, New York.

During the event, the group reflected on their enduring bond, more than 50 years after the show’s final episode. Williams noted that the cast still keeps in touch and enjoys spending time together, adding that their chemistry remains genuine.

Olsen also recently joined Knight and Williams on their The Real Brady Bros podcast, where she shared behind-the-scenes stories — including a frightening incident while filming the pilot episode. She recalled standing on a makeup chair when an object fell from above, hitting crew members before striking her in the face.

Despite the accident, production continued, and a makeup artist was brought in to conceal her bruising for the wedding scene. Olsen later said her face appeared noticeably swollen in the footage and early publicity photos. She jokingly added that not suing the studio was “the saddest news,” quipping she might have earned more from that than from the show itself.
