Katie Price has been disqualified from driving for the seventh time after failing to reply to police correspondence regarding a speeding offence. The 47-year-old former glamour model has now accumulated driving bans totaling more than six years since her first disqualification in 2010.
The latest incident involved a Ford Capri registered in her name, which was allegedly clocked traveling at 80mph in a 70mph zone on the A64 near Stutton in North Yorkshire on 15 October 2025. Police contacted Price at her West Sussex address asking her to confirm who was behind the wheel. After she did not respond, she was convicted of failing to provide driver information and handed a six-month ban, along with legal costs exceeding £1,000.
The case was handled under the Single Justice Procedure, where magistrates rule on lower-level offences without a public hearing. Court records indicate she was initially charged with both speeding and failing to identify the driver, though the speeding allegation was later dropped. Magistrate Claire Sagar, sitting at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court on 31 March, found Price guilty of not responding to police requests and ordered her to pay a £660 fine, £120 in court costs, and a £264 victim surcharge. Because the process takes place behind closed doors, it remains unclear whether Price had the opportunity to challenge the ban or whether her full driving history and penalty points were considered.

Price’s record behind the wheel has been controversial for years. She received a six-month ban in December 2010 after admitting to speeding, followed by a one-year disqualification in 2012 for failing to respond to further tickets. Another six-month ban came in February 2018 after she was again caught speeding.
In 2019, she admitted to driving while already disqualified, resulting in a three-month ban. Just weeks later, she was convicted of being drunk in charge of a vehicle after police saw the car veer off the road. Later that same year, she failed to identify a driver following a crash, which led to an 18-month ban.
Her driving record drew strong criticism in 2021 when a judge described it as “one of the worst” he had seen. She received a 16-week suspended prison sentence for drink-driving while disqualified and without insurance, along with a two-year ban, 100 hours of community service, and mandatory rehabilitation sessions.
More recently, in 2024, Price was fined £880 for driving without a licence and insurance in Northamptonshire. However, she avoided an additional disqualification at that time.
