Baywatch vet Nicole Eggert, 54, bravely shows off her body after painful cancer battle

Nicole Eggert, the former Baywatch star, has shared a courageous new update, once again showing the visible aftermath of her cancer treatment while continuing to document her recovery journey publicly.

The 54-year-old actress posted new images on Instagram in which she confidently displayed her healed surgical scars, wearing a lace corset-style top paired with faded jeans. The photos reflected both vulnerability and strength as she continues to recover from a difficult health battle.

Eggert, who revealed in 2024 that she had been diagnosed with stage 2 cribriform carcinoma breast cancer, has been open about every step of her treatment. In her caption, she spoke about grief and healing as ongoing processes, encouraging resilience and self-awareness while also referencing her experiences with menopause and cancer awareness.

Her treatment has been extensive and intense. She previously shaved her head before beginning months of chemotherapy and radiation, followed by a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery in 2025. More recently, she also underwent a full hysterectomy after doctors detected early warning signs of additional cancer, a decision she said was made quickly on medical advice.

Despite the severity of her condition, Eggert has remained focused on recovery and positivity. She has also spoken about how her daughters, Dilyn and Keegan, have been her biggest source of motivation throughout the ordeal. While she tried to shield them from the hardest moments, she has described the emotional weight of telling them about her diagnosis as life-changing.

She recalled that her older daughter responded with understanding, while the conversation with her younger daughter was especially difficult. That moment, she said, reinforced her determination to fight the illness and stay present for her children.

Alongside her health journey, Eggert has also reflected on her early fame. She recently admitted she regrets leaving Baywatch during its peak popularity, where she played Summer Quinn alongside stars like Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff. She left the series after being told she would lead a spin-off that ultimately never came to fruition.

Looking back, she now describes that decision as impulsive, believing she misunderstood how deeply the show would become a global cultural phenomenon. Baywatch, which ran from 1989 to 2001, went on to become one of the most-watched television series in the world.

A new reboot of the franchise is currently in development, though early reactions from fans have been mixed, with some questioning whether the revival can capture the original’s impact.

For Eggert, however, the focus today is not Hollywood nostalgia but healing, family, and moving forward—continuing to share her story with honesty and resilience.
