Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter Apple Martin has revealed she is about to hit a major milestone, announcing that she will graduate from Vanderbilt University next month.
The 21-year-old shared the update on Instagram Stories, posting a video of herself wearing a white dress beneath a black graduation gown while walking through a room with hardwood floors. She captioned it: “I am graduating college btw.”

Apple began studying at Vanderbilt in 2022 and is reportedly majoring in Law, History and Society. While academics have been her main focus, she has also stayed involved in the arts through the university’s student theater scene, performing with the Vanderbilt Original Cast and directing productions.
Despite not majoring in drama, Apple has made it clear that acting remains a dream. In past interviews, she said she loves theater “more than anything” and described herself as being born a theater kid. She has also said that while she once considered law school, it came during a phase where she wanted to avoid following in her parents’ footsteps.

The rising star has already landed representation with top Hollywood agency Creative Artists Agency, signaling growing ambitions in entertainment. She has also secured modeling work for brands including Gap Inc. and Self-Portrait.
Apple, whose father is Chris Martin, has previously denied rumors that she was expelled from school for bullying, calling the claims completely false and insisting those close to her know she is not that kind of person.

Her college journey was first publicly mentioned by Paltrow in 2022, when the actress admitted she struggled emotionally with sending her daughter away. She described the experience as heartbreaking but said she was comforted knowing Apple was happy and thriving.
Now, as graduation approaches and new opportunities in Hollywood emerge, Apple Martin appears ready to begin the next chapter of her life both professionally and personally.
