Brooke Shields, 60, and her daughter Rowan, 22, drew plenty of attention as they were spotted filming in New York City on Wednesday for Rowan’s upcoming reality series.
The mother-daughter duo, who often turn heads thanks to their striking resemblance, were seen moving through the city with cameras in tow. Shields, best known for The Blue Lagoon, wore a sleek black leather dress paired with black mules, while Rowan coordinated in a black studded maxi dress and heels as she continues her journey toward a career in journalism.

The pair appeared to be shooting scenes for Next Gen NYC, the Bravo reality series that follows the lives of celebrity children and so-called “nepo babies” as they navigate adulthood and careers in New York. Rowan joined the show’s second season, with filming expected to continue into the spring.
The cast also includes Riley Burruss, daughter of Kandi Burruss, Gia Giudice, daughter of Teresa Giudice, Brooks Marks, son of Meredith Marks, Ariana Biermann, daughter of Kim Zolciak, and Ava Dash, daughter of Damon Dash.

Shields has been openly supportive of Rowan’s ambitions, saying she is encouraging her daughter’s growing media career and her involvement in the show. Rowan, she explained, is focused on broadcast journalism and has already gained experience through various media appearances and red-carpet coverage.

The actress has also shared that people often tell her how charismatic Rowan is, adding that she receives constant praise about her daughter’s personality. Her advice to Rowan has been simple: keep going and don’t give up.
Outside of her daughter’s rising career, Shields has also recently reflected on her past, including a brief romance with John F. Kennedy Jr.. In a 2023 interview, she recalled their time together fondly, describing him as one of the most memorable kisses of her life, though the relationship ultimately didn’t last.
