60s bombshell Lesley Ann Warren, 79, starred in a beloved Disney musical and worked with Julie Andrews and Tim Curry, see her now

Lesley Ann Warren, the glamorous Hollywood star who rose to fame in the 1960s and charmed audiences in a beloved Disney musical, was recently spotted during a rare outing in Beverly Hills.

The actress, now 79 and approaching her 80th birthday, enjoyed a casual stroll over the weekend while dressed in a cozy cream-colored jacket paired with black-and-red checkered pants. She completed the relaxed look with black sneakers and a crossbody bag, while her signature reddish hair fell naturally past her shoulders in soft waves.

Warren first captured attention in the entertainment world during the early 1960s after training as a ballerina and later studying at the prestigious School of American Ballet. She also made history by becoming the youngest student admitted to the legendary Actors Studio at just 17 years old.

After making her Broadway debut in 110 in the Shade, Warren’s breakout moment arrived when she landed the title role in Cinderella. The Rodgers and Hammerstein adaptation aired on CBS and featured stars including Ginger Rogers and Stuart Damon.

Reflecting on the experience years later, Warren admitted the role still holds deep meaning for her because she was only 18 at the time and never imagined it would leave such a lasting impression on audiences.

She continued building a successful career with projects like The Happiest Millionaire and The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band before joining the cast of Mission: Impossible in the early 1970s. Her performance earned her a Golden Globe nomination.

Warren later won a Golden Globe for her acclaimed role in the miniseries 79 Park Avenue, a project she has described as one of the most emotionally intense experiences of her career.

In the 1980s, she starred alongside Julie Andrews in Victor/Victoria, earning both Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actress. She also became a fan favorite for playing Miss Scarlet in the cult classic Clue opposite Tim Curry, Christopher Lloyd, and Madeline Kahn.

Although Clue initially struggled at the box office, Warren has spoken proudly about the film’s enduring cult status and the passionate fanbase it later developed through television reruns.

Over the decades, Warren remained a steady presence on television with appearances in Will & Grace, Desperate Housewives, Community, and many other projects.

She continues acting today, with recent credits including Home Delivery and the short film Olive, while also preparing for the upcoming thriller Shadow Watcher.
