Naomi Watts celebrates in LA with son Sasha, 18, as he finishes first year of college.

Naomi Watts is proudly celebrating a major milestone for her eldest son, Sasha Schreiber, after he completed his first year at University of Southern California.

The actress recently traveled to Los Angeles to mark the occasion with the 18-year-old college student, who shared several snapshots from his final week of classes on Instagram. One sunny photo showed Watts smiling beside her son while wearing oversized sunglasses, a black blouse and a woven raffia hat, while Sasha sported a bright yellow T-shirt.

In his post, Sasha reflected on finishing freshman year with the caption, “Year one & done,” while Watts later reshared the image to her Instagram Stories and congratulated him on completing his first year of college.

Sasha, whose father is Liev Schreiber, graduated last year from Friends Seminary, the oldest continuously coeducational school in New York City. At the time, Watts celebrated the achievement alongside Schreiber and her husband Billy Crudup, whom she married in 2023.

According to his social media, Sasha is currently studying at USC’s School of Dramatic Arts and appears interested in following his parents into entertainment. He already has an acting credit to his name after voicing a young wolf in The Jungle Book.

Meanwhile, his younger sister Kai Schreiber, 17, has begun building a career in fashion. Signed with IMG Models, Kai made a runway debut earlier this year for Valentino during its Fall/Winter 2025 show and has since appeared in campaigns for both Valentino and Celine.

Kai, who publicly came out as transgender in 2025, recently opened up about dreams of becoming a supermodel, explaining that fashion has long been a passion. She also admitted that academics have never been her strongest focus, saying she feels more drawn toward a future in the fashion industry than a traditional college path.
