Woman buys old public toilet and turns it into her dream apartment

There is such a special type of people – creative people. They are able to transform all the surrounding space around them, make it better, more beautiful. The heroine of our article today is exactly such a person. Meet Laura Clark!

The peculiarity of this public toilet is that it is located underground. The building was constructed in 1929, but has not been functioning since 1980.

No human foot had set foot in these places for over 30 years. And looking at the state of the premises, it was clearly visible…

There was trash everywhere!

All around there is only a pile of ruins and peeling walls.

Initially, Laura wanted to turn this space into a mini-cinema or a bar. However, after three years, she was unable to resolve all the bureaucratic issues. And then the girl decided to make this unsightly space into the apartment of her dreams.

Laura did almost all the work herself – from demolishing partitions and erecting new ones to installing electrical wiring and painting the walls.

Laura bought this space in 2011, and in 2016 her project turned from a dream that no one believed in into reality.

And here is the final result. How do you like this kitchen?

Looking at these royal chambers, it is simply impossible to believe that they were once a public toilet. Welcome to the living room…
