Scarlett Johansson Reveals Relationship Advice She Gave Her 10-Year-Old Daughter

Scarlett Johansson appeared as a guest on the morning show Today with Jenna and Friends and shared the relationship advice she gave her 10-year-old daughter Rose.

According to Scarlett, 40, she had to introduce Rose to the concept of ghosting — ignoring and abruptly ending a relationship without warning or explanation. The reason for this was a situation that happened to Rose herself.

“There was this little boy who liked her, and suddenly she didn’t like him anymore, so she just stopped talking to him, and he felt terrible. So I told her what ghosting is. It really makes the other person feel terrible,” Johansson said.

She admitted that she herself could have started ignoring ex-lovers in her youth because she hated conflict. But she preferred to be dumped rather than shunned: “Seriously, when you are visited, it is terrible because you are just left without answers, and you continue to think: “God, what have I done?” These thoughts do not leave you for years.”
