Recently, American singer and actress Selena Gomez posted an emotional video on her Instagram, addressing Donald Trump’s immigration policies. In the video, she was visibly crying, sharing her reaction to Trump’s threat to deport large numbers of undocumented immigrants. She expressed her apologies to countless families who live in fear.

Following the video, a public official made a statement calling for Selena’s deportation from the U.S. Sam Parker, a Senate candidate, publicly demanded that Gomez, who has Mexican roots, also be deported.
