We moved, and in the new house there was this old chair 😲 Despite its terrible appearance, its frame turned out to be surprisingly strong 🥰 My husband decided to repair it, and this is what he got in just a few hours 😍 The result is shown in the link in the comments ⬇️⬇️

In the corner of the veranda we found an old armchair from the sixties, with massive wooden armrests, a curved back and cracked upholstery that retained the smell of time.
We even found a price tag on the back of it that had been preserved. It must have been quite a solid investment at one time!

Interesting fact: the chair was produced in Estonia during the Soviet era, and despite the years, its frame has proven to be surprisingly strong.
The husband, who loves to work with his hands, immediately got excited about the idea ofrenovating it. After removing the old upholstery, he re-stretched the new fabric, carefully cleaned and polished the wood.

Then something unexpected happened. There was more fabric left than he needed, and his creative streak took over.
In the far corner of the shed, an old chair was gathering dust, its paint peeling and its seat cracked. The husband decided he couldn’t leave it like that.
He updated it in the same style, and now this chair has become a great pair with the updated armchair.

I am incredibly proud of his skill and diligence! The things got a new life, and the dacha is a cozy corner with updated furniture.
Do you like it when old things get a second life? How about a repurposed chair and armchair? 😊
