Last Sunday, a photo of the couple was released on social media, shocking followers with news of a new celebrity romance. They appear to be in complete harmony, wearing matching rural costumes. Still, most of us were surprised to see the British actress alongside the American country singer.
Elizabeth Hurley, 59, a British actress, confirmed her new connection with Billy Ray Cyrus, 63, by posting the photo on Instagram. Hurley’s post only said “Happy Easter ♥️,” but the photo speaks for itself.
It is unclear when the couple began dating, but they have known each other for several years, having both appeared in the 2022 film Christmas in Paradise.
Hurley, who looks lovely in her new photos, has been quite quiet about her personal life in recent years. She was, of course, Hugh Grant’s long-term partner until their separation in 2000. She then had a brief relationship with American businessman Steve Bing, which resulted in the birth of Hurley’s sole child, Damian.
She married Indian businessman Arun Nayar in 2007, but the marriage terminated four years later. Hurley’s last high-profile relationship was with Australian cricketer Shane Warne, which ended in 2013.
Billy Ray Cyrus had a considerably more turbulent personal life.
He was married to Cindy Smith from 1986 until their divorce in 1991. The following year, he had two children with two different women. He married Leticia ‘Tish’ Finley in 1993, and they divorced in 2022.
Cyrus married Australian singer Firerose in 2023, but their relationship ended last year after a tumultuous and dramatic split in which both accused the other of unhealthy relationships.
