40-year-old American actress Amanda Bynes lost weight to make a change in her life. She decided to return to acting after battling addiction.
The Hollywood star is optimistic about the future after battling mental health issues and substance abuse. Amanda Bynes overcame her addictions and lost 12 kilograms with the help of injections of a dangerous drug.
On April 3, the actress turned 40, and she considered the milestone an opportunity to change her life and return to her career. “Amanda has been through hell and back, but she’s confident the worst is behind her and believes it’s time to put all her efforts into getting her career and life back on track,” an insider said.
The artist is currently focusing on her health and appearance. Years of abuse have left her unrecognizable. “Amanda knows that to achieve this, she needs to focus, first and foremost, on her mental and physical health, which means surrounding herself with positive influences and making the right choices,” the source noted.
Friends close to Bynes said her transformation has been so dramatic that she’s already contacted her former co-stars about returning to the set. “The actress understands it’s now or never.
