Amber Heard has recently begun a new chapter of parenthood. The Aquaman actress, who already has a four-year-old daughter, has announced the birth of twins. The 39-year-old also shared a gorgeous snapshot of the infants and their sweet names.
Amber stated in a touching Instagram post on May 11 that Mother’s Day 2025 would be one she’d never forget. This year, I am overjoyed to finally have the family I’ve worked so hard to create. Today I formally announce that I have welcomed twins into the Heard family.”
Amber became a mother for the first time in 2021, with the birth of her daughter Oonagh via surrogacy. In a recent piece, she discussed how having a parent changed her life.
“When I had my first baby girl Oonagh four years ago, my world changed forever,” she stated in an email. “I thought I couldn’t be happier. Now I’m bursting three times!!! Becoming a mother on my own terms, despite my fertility issues, has been the most humbling experience of my life.
She left a message for other mothers throughout the world: “I am eternally happy that I was able to make this decision ethically and wisely. To all the mothers, wherever you are today and however you arrived, my dream family and I are celebrating with you. Love, always. A x.”
Amber also released additional information on her newborns, including a cute photo of their feet. The actress has two children: a son and a daughter. She’s called them Agnes and Ocean, respectively. She hasn’t revealed who the father of her twins and daughter Oonagh is.
