This boy had always been known for his long, golden locks that flowed like a waterfall over his shoulders. Sometimes he wore it tied back, other times it waved freely, catching the light. Wherever he went, his striking hair drew attention. Strangers would often compliment his parents on their “beautiful daughter,” not realizing their mistake.
At first, he laughed it off. But over time, the constant mix-ups became frustrating. No matter what he wore or how he acted, people seemed to judge him solely by his hair.

He walked into the barbershop with shimmering golden hair and walked out looking completely different. The long, silky strands were gone — replaced by a sharp, neat cut that highlighted his features and made his bright eyes stand out.
Even his family was stunned; some didn’t recognize him at first. But the real transformation went deeper than his new style. He carried himself differently, standing taller, smiling wider. For the first time, people truly saw him for who he was.
And he loved it.
