Kim Kardashian has once again opened up about her challenging path to becoming a lawyer — this time revealing that she recently failed another bar exam attempt. But according to the reality star and aspiring attorney, the setback wasn’t entirely her fault. In fact, she jokingly pointed the finger at an unexpected culprit: ChatGPT.
During a recent interview, Kim explained that while preparing for the exam, she leaned heavily on the AI tool to help her study complex legal concepts. But instead of providing clarity, she said the chatbot often led her astray.
“ChatGPT was giving me the wrong answers all the time,” she laughed, recalling her frustration. “I was like, ‘Seriously? You made me fail!’”

Though she delivered the complaint playfully, Kim made it clear that studying with AI came with more challenges than she anticipated. Legal exams — especially the Baby Bar she has been working toward — require precise reasoning, case law accuracy, and nuanced interpretation that even advanced tools sometimes struggle to replicate.
Still, the entrepreneur emphasized she isn’t deterred.
“I’m not blaming anyone. Well… maybe just a little!” she joked. “But honestly, every setback motivates me even more. I’m still committed. I’m still studying. And I’m going to pass.”
Kim has spent several years documenting her legal journey, from long hours of study sessions to her advocacy work on high-profile clemency cases. She has repeatedly said that becoming a lawyer is one of her life goals — inspired in part by her late father, Robert Kardashian, who was known for his work as an attorney.
Despite this latest stumble, she remains determined and optimistic. “I’ve come too far to quit now,” she said. “One failed test doesn’t define me. I’ll keep going — with or without AI.”
Her perseverance continues to inspire fans, many of whom admire her willingness to be transparent about both successes and failures on her path to the legal profession.
