The Heartbreaking Reason Adam Sandler Sends Jennifer Aniston Flowers Every Year on the Same Day

Every year, Adam Sandler sends Jennifer Aniston a bouquet of flowers on the same meaningful day — and the reason behind it is quietly heartbreaking.

The beloved pair first met back in the 1990s at Jerry’s Deli in Los Angeles. Since then, the Friends star and the Happy Gilmore actor have built a decades-long friendship, co-starring in Just Go With It, Murder Mystery, and its 2023 sequel. Their effortless chemistry on screen reflects their genuine bond off screen.

In a 2023 interview with The Wall Street Journal, Aniston, now 56, revealed that Sandler, 59, sends her flowers every Mother’s Day — a gesture that carries deep emotional weight for her.

The actress has been open about her long struggle with infertility. In a candid conversation with Allure, she shared that she underwent IVF and many other treatments throughout her 30s and 40s without success.

“All those years of speculation… it was incredibly painful,” she said. “I tried IVF, I tried herbal remedies — everything. I would have given anything for someone to say, ‘Freeze your eggs.’ You just don’t think of it.”

Eventually, she came to terms with the outcome. “The ship has sailed. I actually feel some relief now — there’s no more wondering, no more ‘maybe.’”

Sandler, along with his wife Jackie, honors her every Mother’s Day with flowers, offering quiet love and support for what she has endured.

Aniston has also pushed back against long-running rumors that her inability to have children ended her marriages to Brad Pitt and later Justin Theroux.

“God forbid a woman is successful and doesn’t have kids,” she told Harper’s Bazaar UK. “People made up all kinds of lies about why my marriage ended. They had no idea what I had been going through privately.”

She also addressed why she chose not to adopt, telling the Armchair Expert podcast: “When people say, ‘You can always adopt,’ I just… I don’t want to. I wanted my own DNA in a child. That’s the only way I ever envisioned it.”

Meanwhile, Aniston, Sandler, and their longtime friend Drew Barrymore have hinted at reuniting for another project. Barrymore joked that the trio has tossed around ideas — from a Three’s Company remake to a modern take on Death Becomes Her, the cult classic starring Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn.
