On Wednesday, Dec. 10, the 13-year-old attended the Lakers vs. Spurs game in Los Angeles alongside her dad, Jay-Z, sitting courtside and looking remarkably like the pop icon herself.
Blue Ivy rocked a Balenciaga moto leather jacket layered over a graphic black tee, paired with cargo denim pants. She accessorized with a Diesel bag and a pair of red Isabel Marant Bekett wedge sneakers — a style Beyoncé famously sported back in 2013. In a throwback Instagram post from March of that year, Beyoncé shared a photo of herself wearing the same sneakers, captioned simply: “Spring!”
While some fans speculate Blue Ivy might be wearing a hand-me-down from her mom, others suggest she’s rocking the latest release of the coveted shoe. According to Who What Wear, the Bekett Hidden Wedge High Top ranked as the eighth most popular product worldwide on the Lyst Index in Q2, with global demand soaring 630% this year.
This father-daughter outing follows Blue Ivy’s appearance at the 27th Annual Angel Ball in New York City on Oct. 27, where she attended with her grandmother, Tina Knowles. For the event, she stunned in a pink shimmery gown, paired with a diamond choker and a feathery pink shawl. Beyoncé shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute at the time, writing: “Congrats Mom on your philanthropy award at the Angel Ball tonight ❤️.”
Blue Ivy isn’t just channeling her mom’s style — she’s stepping into the family spotlight as well. She joined Beyoncé on her Cowboy Carter Tour from April to July 2025 and previously took part in the Renaissance World Tour in 2023. She even performed alongside her mom as a dancer during the NFL Christmas Day halftime show in 2024, solidifying her presence in Beyoncé’s stage productions.
