Although the two shared a significant chapter of their lives together, they were never married, even as Anthony later went on to wed several times.
In the early 1990s, before Marc Anthony rose to international fame, Debbie Rosado was his partner. They built a family together and welcomed two children—a son and a daughter—both of whom have chosen to live largely outside the spotlight. Their relationship came to an end in 1995, after about two years together, during a period when Anthony’s music career was rapidly gaining momentum with the massive success of his album Todo a su Tiempo.

While they initially managed co-parenting amicably, tensions later arose over financial responsibilities and parental involvement. This culminated in a legal dispute in Queens, New York, in May 2000 regarding child support. At the time, Anthony was paying weekly child support, covering Rosado’s rent, and handling other expenses. The case drew attention after it was revealed that the singer had purchased a multimillion-dollar Manhattan home while owning additional properties elsewhere. The court ultimately required him to include their child in Rosado’s employee health insurance plan.

Despite their differences, Debbie has publicly acknowledged that Marc Anthony is a good father, even though their parenting approaches differ. Since then, she has kept a very private life, with little known about her personal relationships today.

Their first child, a daughter named Ariana Muñiz, was born in the 1990s. Although she comes from a famous family, Ariana has kept her life mostly private, aside from a brief acting appearance in the TV series South Beach in 2006. Later, Debbie and Marc adopted a son, originally named Alex, now known as Chase. At 27, Chase also maintains a low profile but is known to share a close bond with his father and has embraced Marc Anthony’s later partners.

Marc Anthony has since remarried several times, most recently to Paraguayan model Nadia Ferreira, who is more than three decades younger than him—an age gap that has drawn public attention, especially given that she is younger than some of his children.
