Madonna appeared to give fans an unexpected glimpse of a high-end medical device tucked inside the bathroom of her lavish $40 million Upper East Side townhouse.

The 66-year-old pop icon shared a TikTok video featuring her 29-year-old boyfriend, Akeem Morris, filmed inside her sprawling New York mansion. While the pair showed off playful dance moves, viewers were quick to notice a large white machine positioned in the background — a device typically found in elite clinics rather than private homes.

The equipment appears to be the Swiss Bio Inov ATP38, a photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy system that reportedly retails for around $23,000. The advanced light-therapy device is designed to stimulate cell regeneration, accelerate healing, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain. It’s commonly used in physiotherapy, dermatology, dentistry, and other medical fields — and is generally operated by trained healthcare professionals.

Though Madonna has not explained why she has the device at home, speculation suggests it could be related to her past health challenges. The singer underwent hip replacement surgery in 2020 and also suffered a serious knee injury that same year. The machine can also be used for cosmetic treatments, including skin tightening and rejuvenation, making it a luxury wellness investment favored by the ultra-wealthy.

In the TikTok clip, Madonna wore a black mini skirt paired with a silky black jacket, while Morris kept it casual in a white T-shirt and black pants. The video ended with the singer playfully grinding against her boyfriend — but it was the high-tech machine behind them that truly captured fans’ attention.

The bathroom reveal comes amid renewed interest in Madonna’s opulent home after French TikTok creator Lyas, 25, was granted rare access to tour the property. The influencer documented his visit for his 551,000 followers, wandering through the four-story, 26-room mansion Madonna purchased in 2009 following her divorce from Guy Ritchie.

During the tour, Lyas highlighted personal treasures, including her two Golden Globe Awards (for Evita and W.E.) and her 2008 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction trophy. He also showed a framed photo of Madonna with former President Barack Obama, inscribed with a handwritten note expressing hopes to collaborate in the future.

Among the artwork displayed in the Georgian-style residence was a striking portrait sketched by Madonna’s late boyfriend Jean-Michel Basquiat during their early-1980s romance. The neo-expressionist artist, who died in 1988, famously painted over works after their breakup — though Madonna has kept some pieces as sentimental reminders of their time together. The home also features artwork by Keith Haring and a black-and-white photograph by Steven Klein.

While Lyas toured lavish spaces including a private bar and Madonna’s expansive walk-in closet, much of the property remains unseen — including its 13 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, wine cellar with grotto, elevator, 3,000-square-foot garden, and two-car garage.

Madonna, who averages more than 38 million monthly listeners on Spotify, remains a towering force in music history. She recently wrapped her record-breaking Celebration Tour and is preparing to re-release her 1994 album Bedtime Stories. At the same time, she is working on new music described as a follow-up to her 2005 dance album Confessions on a Dance Floor, once again collaborating with producer Stuart Price.

As the world’s best-selling female recording artist and the solo artist with the most No. 1 singles in Billboard Hot 100 history, Madonna continues to blend luxury, legacy, and innovation — even if that means housing a $23,000 medical-grade device in her bathroom.
