Danniella Westbrook shows off facial reconstruction results as she relaxes poolside in Dubai

Danniella Westbrook continued to reveal the dramatic results of her latest facial reconstruction surgery as she enjoyed a swim in Dubai during her recovery.

The former EastEnders star, 52, recently underwent extensive procedures in the UAE and was pictured unwinding by the pool on Sunday. Wearing a bikini, she displayed her healing — still bandaged and bruised — face, along with her figure, before stretching out on a sun lounger.

Last week, she had surgery at Gargash Hospital, where doctors performed a full face, neck and brow lift, in addition to reconstructive work on her lips and nose. Over the years, she has undergone multiple operations to repair damage caused by a collapsed septum linked to past cocaine addiction and osteoporosis.

Her latest procedure follows a health scare in December, when she was rushed to hospital with breathing difficulties stemming from long-term complications related to her septum.

Danniella turned once again to surgeon Dr Parviz Sadigh, who has treated her previously and led this most recent stage of her facial rebuild. In a recent Instagram post, she thanked him for his dedication, expressing gratitude for his work and hinting that another operation is planned for February.

Her health struggles also affected her professional comeback. In December, she was set to return to acting in the film Tales From The Trap, playing a gun-running “gangster granny” alongside Love Island’s Liv Hawkins. However, she was forced to step away from the project due to her medical issues and was subsequently replaced by Kim Tiddy.

Sources at the time said she had been hospitalized with breathing problems just as filming was due to begin, derailing what would have been her first major on-screen role in years.

Danniella first rose to fame at just 16 on EastEnders, but her well-documented battle with drug addiction led to her departure from the soap in the 1990s. In 2002, her septum collapsed due to heavy cocaine use — at one point, she reportedly spent hundreds of thousands of pounds on the drug.

In recent years, she has been open about her desire to rebuild her face after years of damage. She previously revealed she needed multiple operations and had struggled for years to find a surgeon willing to take on the complex case because of the severity of her septum collapse.

In 2023, she underwent further procedures in Turkey, including a thread lift, liposuction to her cheeks and lips, fat grafting to her chin and reshaping of her jawline. Despite being offered complimentary treatments by clinics worldwide, she has said she chose to fund her surgeries herself.

Though she admitted being unhappy with some earlier reconstruction results, Danniella has maintained she is determined to restore her appearance as she continues her sobriety journey and works to rebuild her life.

Now recovering in Dubai, the actress appears focused on healing — both physically and personally — as she navigates the next chapter.
