Her dad is sitcom royalty, with legendary runs on Cheers and Frasier — and there’s even a Bravo connection thanks to his former marriage to a star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But this rising actress has been building her own résumé.

The 33-year-old recently stepped out in head-to-toe black at the opening of the Brilliant Earth jewelry store in Beverly Hills, turning heads at the glam event. So who is she?
It’s Greer Grammer — daughter of Kelsey Grammer, who was previously married to Camille Grammer of RHOBH fame.

Greer has carved out her own path in Hollywood with roles in MTV’s Awkward, The Goldbergs, and Netflix’s Deadly Illusions. She was crowned Miss Teen Malibu in 2008 and has even appeared alongside her father in the Frasier revival, portraying Alice, the grown daughter of Roz Doyle (played by Peri Gilpin).

Despite the famous last name, Greer has pushed back against “nepo baby” claims, revealing she was largely estranged from her father throughout childhood. Her parents — Kelsey and stylist Barrie Buckner — split shortly after she was born. Greer has shared that her father left when she was four, and she didn’t truly reconnect with him until she was 16 after a chance encounter at a Christmas tree lot.

Though she recalls brief childhood memories — including visiting the Frasier set and him attending a preschool performance — much of that time remains hazy. She’s spoken candidly about unpacking the emotional impact of their estrangement in therapy.

Since reconnecting, the two have rebuilt their relationship and have appeared together publicly on multiple occasions. Meanwhile, Kelsey — now a father of eight — continues to expand his family with wife Kayte Walsh, alongside children from previous marriages.

Still, Greer insists her career stands on its own merit — complicated family history and all.
