Actress Bridget Fonda recently drew attention after appearing noticeably slimmer while running errands in Santa Monica. The 62-year-old Hollywood star, who is rumored to have lost around 100 pounds over the past year, was photographed enjoying a casual day out, showing off her dramatically transformed figure.
For the outing, the actress opted for a relaxed, comfortable style. She wore a gray T-shirt paired with loose black pants and black sneakers. Her silver hair was tied back in a ponytail, and she completed the laid-back look with sunglasses and a light green shirt worn open over her outfit.

According to reports, the actress’s impressive weight loss has also brought a renewed sense of confidence, sparking speculation that she may be considering a return to acting. An insider told Star magazine earlier this month that Fonda still has remarkable talent and could easily land new roles if she decided to step back into the film industry.
Fonda comes from one of Hollywood’s most famous acting dynasties. She is the daughter of the late actor Peter Fonda and the niece of legendary actress Jane Fonda. Despite her family’s deep roots in the entertainment industry, Bridget largely stepped away from the spotlight more than two decades ago.
Her decision to retreat from Hollywood followed a serious car accident in 2003 that left her with a fractured vertebra. That same year, she married renowned film composer Danny Elfman. After the couple welcomed their son in 2005, Fonda chose to focus on her recovery and family life rather than continuing her acting career.
In a rare comment in 2023, the actress appeared to dismiss the idea of returning to the big screen, saying she was enjoying life away from Hollywood and preferred living as a private citizen.

Before leaving the industry, Fonda had built an impressive film career. She actually made her first appearance on screen as a child in the 1969 classic Easy Rider, which starred her father along with Jack Nicholson and Dennis Hopper.
During the late 1980s and 1990s, she went on to establish herself as a leading actress, appearing in films such as You Can’t Hurry Love (1988) and Scandal (1989). She also appeared in Francis Ford Coppola’s crime epic sequel The Godfather Part III in 1990.
One of her most memorable performances came in the psychological thriller Single White Female (1992), where she starred opposite Jennifer Jason Leigh. The film later developed a strong cult following among fans of the genre.
Fonda’s other notable roles include appearances in It Could Happen to You (1994), Jackie Brown (1997), A Simple Plan (1998), Lake Placid (1999), and Kiss of the Dragon (2001).
Throughout her career, she also received several award nominations, including a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Scandal. Her final on-screen appearance came in the 2002 television film Snow Queen.

Experts have speculated about how the actress may have achieved her dramatic weight loss. According to a Southern California nutrition specialist, the transformation may have involved medical treatments such as GLP-1 medications — similar to drugs like Ozempic — which are sometimes prescribed for diabetes but are increasingly used for weight management.
However, the expert noted that significant weight loss can also be achieved through lifestyle changes, including reducing sugar, carbohydrates, and dairy products in the diet.
Although Fonda herself has not commented publicly on her transformation or the rumors of a possible return to acting, her recent appearance has sparked renewed interest among fans who remember her as one of Hollywood’s most recognizable actresses of the 1990s.
