Drew Barrymore is once again embracing aging with honesty and confidence.
The 51-year-old actress and talk show host shared a candid Instagram video on Thursday, May 7, proudly showing off the natural lines on her face while celebrating the life experiences behind them.
In the clip, Barrymore smiles warmly at the camera as text appears reading: “Of course I have lines on my face… this is what my life looks like.” The video then cuts to playful moments of the actress laughing and making animated facial expressions.
“It has been such an honor to earn every single line I have on my face!!!!” she wrote alongside the post.
Fans quickly flooded the comments section with praise for her refreshing honesty and positive outlook on aging. Many called her a role model for embracing natural beauty and helping others feel more comfortable with growing older instead of trying to hide every wrinkle.

Barrymore has spoken openly about aging before. In December 2025, she posted a makeup-free video set to Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” where she showed close-up shots of her bare skin while wearing casual clothes and her hair in a messy bun.
At the time, she shared the message: “Aging is a privilege. It is not something to fear,” adding that she never takes the experience of growing older for granted.
Ahead of turning 50, the Charlie’s Angels star also revealed she was genuinely excited about reaching the milestone. In an interview with AARP The Magazine, Barrymore said she felt happier and more peaceful than ever before.
