The 60-year-old former supermodel, known for advocating body acceptance and aging with confidence, shared a video on her Instagram account in which she appeared at home wearing a pink bra and matching underwear. In the clip, she spoke candidly to her 1.4 million followers about gaining around 15 pounds in recent years.
During the video, Porizkova addressed a question she often receives: how she manages to look so good at 60. Rather than attributing it to perfection, she explained that flattering lighting and careful posing can make a big difference in photos.

To emphasize her point, she zoomed in on her arm and gently pulled at the skin, explaining that the reality of aging looks different from what people often see online. “I’m 60 years old,” she said, noting that her body naturally reflects that stage of life.
The model also pointed to her stomach, saying that it is unlikely to change much despite exercise or fitness routines. She explained that the skin carries the marks of life, including the fact that it once carried her two children. No matter how much Pilates or weightlifting she does, she added, some aspects of the body simply remain as they are.
Still, Porizkova emphasized that she feels more comfortable with herself now than ever before. She said that, despite the changes, she actually prefers her body the way it is today.
In the caption accompanying the video, she expanded on the message, explaining that images often rely on “smoke and mirrors” to look perfect for a brief moment. In reality, she wrote, gravity affects everyone over time.
However, she also reflected on the positive side of aging, suggesting that the same forces that change the body also build inner strength and confidence.

Referring to the pink lingerie she wore in the video, Porizkova revealed that she originally bought the set about seven years ago for someone who did not truly appreciate it. At the time, she felt the person expected her to be decades younger.
Now, she said, wearing it has taken on a completely different meaning. Even though it no longer fits exactly the same way, she enjoys putting it on because of the reaction it gets from her partner, television writer Jeff Greenstein.
She concluded by saying that, despite what society often labels as the “flaws” of aging, she has never felt more confident or comfortable in her own skin.
Porizkova, who will turn 61 in April, has been in a relationship with Greenstein for about three years. Before that, she dated screenwriter Aaron Sorkin.

She was previously married to Ric Ocasek, frontman of the band The Cars, from 1989 until their separation in 2018. Ocasek passed away in 2019. The couple shared two sons, Jonathan, 32, and Oliver, 27.
Earlier in 2025, Porizkova explained that some of the weight gain came after she underwent a bilateral hip replacement in early 2024. She said that while she noticed the extra weight later, she had been so focused on enjoying life without chronic pain that it barely registered at first.
At the time, she said she discovered the change when she traveled to Paris for her first modeling assignment of the year. Despite the difference, she noted that she does not mind her fuller figure.
Compared to the year before—when she weighed less but was dealing with constant pain—Porizkova said her softer body now feels far more comfortable and reassuring.
