Ben Affleck took his middle child, Fin, to a Broadway performance in Midtown Manhattan

The 53-year-old actor appeared cheerful while spending quality time with the 17-year-old, who publicly affirmed their non-binary identity nearly two years ago at their grandfather’s memorial.

Fin, previously known as Seraphina Rose, stayed warm in a black jacket layered over a long yellow scarf patterned with dogs, baggy black jeans, and grey sneakers. Affleck, who paused for a selfie with a fan, wore a black peacoat over a white button-up shirt, slim black jeans, and brown boots.

Father and child attended the one-man show Every Brilliant Thing, starring Daniel Radcliffe at the Hudson Theatre. Written and directed by Duncan Macmillan, the interactive solo performance follows a man who catalogs life’s small joys on Post-its to cope with his mother’s suicidal tendencies.

Affleck also shares 20-year-old daughter Violet, currently at Yale University, and 14-year-old son Samuel with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, their marriage having ended in 2018.

Recently, DeuxMoi posted a clip of Affleck’s second ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, reacting to a fan revealing his name during her All Night Live residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Affleck and the 56-year-old singer finalized their divorce on February 21 after just under three years of marriage.

Interestingly, Lopez also has a non-binary child, Emme Maribel Muñiz, who uses they/them pronouns. Fin and Emme were raised together for about five years.

Affleck’s career has remained active outside acting. Two weeks ago, Netflix acquired his AI startup, InterPositive, potentially earning him and his investors up to $600 million if performance targets are met. The LA-based company, founded in 2022 with a 16-person team, was praised by Affleck’s celebrity advisor as a “dream come true.”

Since 2022, Affleck has also co-managed the independent, artist-led studio The Artists Equity alongside childhood friend Matt Damon and Gerry Cardinale of RedBird Capital. The Boston natives—10th cousins once removed—first met as neighbors in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and later co-wrote the Oscar-winning screenplay for Gus Van Sant’s 1997 film Good Will Hunting.
