Don Most, best known for playing Ralph Malph on Happy Days, became memorable as one of Richie’s red-haired friends during the show’s early years. He appeared in the first seven seasons of the sitcom, later returned for a guest spot before it ended, and also voiced Ralph in the animated spin-off The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang.
Although fans still associate him with the role, Most’s career has extended far beyond the classic series, and he continues to work in entertainment. In addition to acting, he has also built a second career as a swing and big band singer.

Most has remained active on screen, with more recent appearances in TV shows such as The Bold and the Beautiful and Glee, as well as films including Lost Heart and Holiday in Santa Fe. He has also performed on stage, joining a touring production of Grease. Like former co-star Ron Howard, he has tried his hand at directing, helming films such as The Last Best Sunday, Moola, and Harley’s Hill.

Music has become another major passion. Most performs swing and big band standards and released an album, Mostly Swinging, in 2017. He has said his love for the genre began in childhood when his mother frequently played that style of music, and he’s proud that listeners of all ages now enjoy his songs.

Away from the spotlight, Most has been married to his wife, Morgan Hart, since 1982. The couple met when she guest-starred on Happy Days, and they share two children, both now in their 30s. He has said becoming a father shifted his priorities, placing more value on family and personal fulfillment rather than material success.

Most has also maintained close relationships with many of his former castmates, especially Anson Williams, who played Potsie. The two have even toured together, combining music and storytelling, and Most has said the Happy Days cast still feels like family decades later.
