The 44-year-old comedian highlighted her reported 50-pound weight loss while enjoying a beach outing with stylist Jamie Mizrahi. Schumer, who has been open about using a GLP-1 medication as part of her transformation, wore a snorkel and stretched her arms out as she stood thigh-deep in the ocean.
In an earlier post, she also shared a mirror selfie in a maroon one-piece swimsuit that emphasized her leaner frame, captioning the image, “Let me go on,” with celebrities like Jewel and Natasha Bedingfield reacting in the comments.
Her weight loss comes months after she announced her separation from husband Chris Fischer in December and filed for divorce in January. Addressing speculation about her new look, Schumer clarified that the breakup was not related to her shedding pounds.
In a statement, the Life & Beth star said she and Fischer had made the difficult decision to end their marriage after seven years, adding that they still care deeply for one another and remain focused on raising their son. She also described the split as amicable and asked for privacy.
Last year, Schumer revealed which weight-loss medication worked best for her after previously trying Ozempic. In March 2025, she shared that she had a positive experience with the diabetes and weight-loss drug Mounjaro, saying it suited her better than Wegovy.
She had previously explained that Ozempic didn’t agree with her, and that she struggled with side effects when she first tried similar medications. After consulting through a telehealth service, she decided to give Mounjaro a try and said she noticed improvements in her energy, hair, skin, and overall well-being.
Schumer and Fischer married in Malibu in 2018 in front of about 80 guests, including Jennifer Lawrence. The former couple share one son, Gene, who turns seven in May.
