In one photo, she cuddles the cat inside her hoodie, while another close-up shows her holding it, drawing attention to both her diamond-studded nails and the cat’s sparkling leash.
While some followers focused on the apparent price tag of the jeweled leash, others took issue with what they saw as Jenner using the pet for aesthetic purposes — especially since she has previously owned more than eight dogs, none of which have appeared on her social media lately.
The criticism intensified after one user reshared the images and questioned the absence of her dogs, suggesting the cat might simply match her current “aesthetic” and wondering how long it would be before she moved on.
The comment section quickly filled with disapproving reactions. Some accused Jenner of turning the cat into an Instagram prop rather than treating it as a living animal, while others bluntly claimed she was using it as an accessory. One commenter also pointed out that Scottish Fold cats — the breed many believed the pet to be — are often born with genetic issues that can cause pain, arguing they shouldn’t be glamorized. Others echoed concern for the animal and questioned why Jenner’s dogs have seemingly disappeared from view.
The controversy comes shortly after Jenner promoted her latest Kylie Cosmetics launch with bold images, posing braless in a plunging white mini dress.
Away from social media, she has also been making headlines in real estate, recently listing her Hidden Hills mansion for $20.25 million. The modern farmhouse-style estate sits on roughly 1.4 acres and spans more than 13,000 square feet, featuring eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and a resort-style backyard with a pool, spa, fire pit, and outdoor kitchen. Inside, the home includes a private theater, game room with bar, office with fireplace, gym, and a dedicated massage room, along with a separate guest suite.
Meanwhile, Jenner’s relationship with Timothée Chalamet has continued to draw attention since dating rumors first surfaced in April 2023 following her split from Travis Scott. The pair went public later that year at Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour stop in Los Angeles and have largely kept their romance low-key since.
