Sia must pay $42,500 a month to her ex-husband

The artist and her ex-husband have agreed on child support.

Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, known as the singer Sia, has reached an agreement with her ex-husband Dan Bernad regarding child support for their son, TMZ reports .

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Sia is to pay $42,500 in child support per month to Bernad. The amount is equivalent to approximately 420,000 kroner.

Payments began on April 1 and will be made on the first day of each month.

The couple has also agreed on the division of parental responsibility and holidays. They will share legal custody , while the holidays will be divided between them. Bernad gets Hanukkah and Father’s Day, while Sia keeps Christmas, Easter and Mother’s Day.

Turbulent marriage

Sia and Bernad have been through a turbulent divorce and parenting dispute over their son Somersault. The artist has been represented by renowned divorce attorney Laura Wasser.

There have been major disagreements between the two in the past. Bernad has applied for sole parental rights and accused Sia of substance abuse.

Now, however, it seems they have found a solution to the most important issues concerning their children.

World-renowned artist

Sia has enjoyed great success as a solo artist and is one of the most sought-after songwriters in pop music. She has written songs for several major artists, including Rihanna, Beyoncé, David Guetta and Katy Perry.

She had her big breakthrough with the megahit Chandelier in 2014.

On Spotify, she has over 64 million monthly listeners.

Although their separation was marked by tension and serious disagreements, the new arrangement suggests that Sia and Dan Bernad are now prioritizing stability and cooperation for the sake of their son. By settling child support, custody, and holiday schedules, the former couple appears ready to move forward and focus on co-parenting more peacefully. While the legal chapter of their relationship may have been turbulent, the agreement marks a turning point — one that could allow both parents to concentrate on their family and, in Sia’s case, continue her thriving career without the weight of an ongoing dispute.
