Soap legend and ’80s sex symbol Don Diamont stuns fans with chiseled physique at age 63… see him now

Don Diamont, longtime soap opera favorite and one of the most recognizable male heartthrobs of the 1980s, is proving that age has done little to slow him down.

Now 63, the The Bold and the Beautiful star recently had fans buzzing after posting a shirtless selfie on social media that highlighted his impressively toned physique.

In the photo, Diamont smiled at the camera while enjoying a late-night swim. He explained in the caption that he had been using the pool for interval sprint workouts over the previous few weeks, spending 20 to 30 minutes at a time to keep his routine fresh and energize his metabolism in the evenings.

He also shared wellness advice with followers, noting that even light activity after dinner can help reduce stress levels. Encouraging people to prioritize movement, he reminded fans that doing something small is always better than doing nothing at all.

This wasn’t the first time he impressed followers with his fitness. Last year, while vacationing on the French Riviera with wife Cindy Ambuehl, Diamont posted another poolside image showing off his sculpted frame. He credited swimming as one of his favorite workouts, calling it an ideal combination of cardio and resistance training.

Beyond swimming, Diamont is also known to enjoy boxing and weightlifting as part of his exercise regimen.

His soap opera career began in 1984 on Days of Our Lives, where he played Carlo Forenza. He later became widely known for portraying Brad Carlton on The Young and the Restless, a role he held across multiple years. Since 2009, he has starred as Bill Spencer Jr. on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Diamont made history in 1990 when he became the first daytime television actor named among People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People. He also appeared twice on the cover of Playgirl magazine, further cementing his status as a daytime TV sex symbol.

He married Cindy Ambuehl in 2012 after the two met through The Bold and the Beautiful. Together they share twin sons. Ambuehl later stepped away from acting and built a successful career in luxury real estate.

Most recently, the couple attended the launch of the new BBTV app, a streaming platform offering thousands of episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, along with auditions, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and other exclusive content.

While daytime soaps no longer dominate television the way they once did, they continue to show lasting appeal—and Don Diamont remains one of the genre’s most enduring stars.
