Arnold Schwarzenegger recently stepped out for a rare public date night with his longtime girlfriend, Heather Milligan.
The 78-year-old actor, who usually keeps his personal life private, was seen leaving the Japanese hotspot Nobu Malibu after enjoying an intimate dinner with Heather, 51. The couple has been together for more than a decade but seldom appears together in public.
For the evening, Arnold kept things casual in a gray jacket layered over a black sweater with blue jeans. Heather chose a chic white blazer with gold buttons, paired with a white top and black pants.
The former governor was previously married to Maria Shriver for 25 years before their high-profile split and eventual divorce following revelations of his affair with Mildred Baena.
Arnold met Heather, a physical therapist, in 2012 shortly after separating from Maria. At the time, he was recovering from shoulder surgery before filming the action movie Escape Plan with Sylvester Stallone.
In a 2023 interview, Arnold shared that his surgeon strongly recommended Heather for rehabilitation, calling her the best in the field. After completing therapy and finishing the film, Arnold invited her to lunch to thank her — and their relationship soon grew from there.
The couple has remained together ever since. Arnold has spoken warmly about Heather, praising her independence, strong work ethic, and the many interests they share.
Heather is an accomplished professional in her own right. She is the founder and owner of Elite OrthoSport Physical Therapy & Performance, one of the largest physical therapy clinics on the west side of Los Angeles.
According to her professional biography, she holds an MBA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, has over 20 years of experience as a physical therapist, and spent two decades as a competitive gymnast. She primarily works with athletes and has built a respected team focused on high-level patient care.
Meanwhile, Arnold officially finalized his divorce from Maria Shriver in 2021, a decade after she first filed following the revelation that he had fathered son Joseph Baena with the family’s longtime housekeeper.
