Heather Locklear looked radiant as she celebrated her daughter Ava Sambora at a glamorous bridal shower this week — and fans couldn’t get over how much the two resembled sisters.
The 64-year-old Melrose Place star posed alongside her 28-year-old daughter in photos shared on Instagram ahead of Ava’s upcoming wedding to longtime boyfriend Tyler Farrar.
With their matching blonde hair and youthful appearances, the mother-daughter duo looked strikingly alike, with Locklear continuing to show off the timeless glow she’s become known for over the years.
Ava, whose father is Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi fame, shared sweet moments from the celebration online, including a cozy snap with her fiancé and their Golden Retriever.
“The most beautiful bridal shower,” Ava captioned the post. “Thank you to all the incredible women who hosted, organized, and attended this special day. I’m especially grateful for my mama, my godmother Juliet, future mother-in-law Mary, and sister Monica.”
Ava and Farrar have been together since 2019, when she first posted a photo of the two together outside a seaside bar in Los Angeles. The couple announced their engagement on February 11, 2024, revealing a stunning diamond ring that Ava has proudly shown off on social media ever since.
Meanwhile, Locklear has also found happiness in her personal life. The actress is currently dating Lorenzo Lamas, best known for his roles in Falcon Crest and Renegade.
According to reports, the pair have been romantically involved for several months and were spotted looking affectionate together during a New Year’s outing in Las Vegas at Barry’s Steakhouse inside Circa Resort & Casino. Insiders claimed the two appeared very close throughout the evening.
The couple had also been photographed arm-in-arm in late 2025, and sources say the relationship has become serious enough that they are beginning to introduce their children to one another.
For the Vegas date night, Locklear wore a chic black dress paired with a Miu Miu handbag, while Lamas opted for a gray blazer over a black shirt and pants.
Locklear was previously married to Tommy Lee from 1986 to 1993 before tying the knot with Sambora in 1994. Their marriage lasted until 2007.
She later had an on-and-off relationship with former fiancé Chris Heisser before the pair split in 2025.
Lamas, meanwhile, has been married six times and is father to six children. He filed for divorce from his sixth wife, Kenna Nicole, in 2025.
Locklear remains best known for her iconic role as Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place, where she starred alongside Jack Wagner, Courtney Thorne-Smith, and Kelly Rutherford throughout the show’s successful run during the 1990s.
