George Clooney and his wife Amal, 48, look more in love than ever as they celebrate his 65th birthday in St Tropez

George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney looked happier than ever while celebrating the actor’s 65th birthday during a romantic getaway in St. Tropez on Thursday.

The couple packed on the affection as they enjoyed a relaxed afternoon with friends at the famous beachside hotspot Club 55, known for its stunning seaside views.

George and Amal appeared completely smitten, laughing together and staying close as they wandered through the picturesque French Riviera town.

The birthday outing included a boat ride from their yacht to shore, with the Oscar-winning actor rarely leaving Amal’s side throughout the day.

Always the charmer, George was also seen chatting warmly with friends during the lunch gathering.

The Jay Kelly actor embraced relaxed Riviera style in a black polo shirt paired with beige trousers, loafers, and a leather belt.

Amal, 48, looked effortlessly elegant in a colorful embellished top and matching skirt, which she paired with knee-high black boots and chic sunglasses.

The glamorous pair are longtime fans of St. Tropez and frequently vacation there together.

Last month, while attending the 51st Chaplin Award Gala, where he received an honor, Clooney joked about reaching the milestone birthday when asked whether he had entered the “third act” of his life.

“Well, let’s hope so,” he laughed, adding that it depends “how long the show runs.”

The actor explained that his priorities have shifted in recent years toward philanthropy and family life rather than chasing Hollywood success.

George said much of his focus now goes toward the Clooney Foundation for Justice, as well as education initiatives and humanitarian projects he finds more meaningful.

“I’m not chasing a career anymore,” he admitted. “Now I spend more time on things that actually matter to me.”

Still, he added that he remains open to acting opportunities if the right role comes along.

Clooney also reflected humorously on his decades-long career, including his early appearance on The Facts of Life, where he sported what he described as a memorable mullet hairstyle.

The romantic French getaway comes shortly after the actor revealed that he and Amal have never had a serious argument during their marriage.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2014 and share twins Ella and Alexander, explained that they avoid petty conflicts because neither feels the need to “win” disagreements anymore.

George joked that if Amal wanted to paint a wall red, he simply would not care enough to argue about it.

“We have a really amazing relationship because we support each other so much,” he said during a recent interview with CBS Mornings.

The former ER star also shared that becoming parents changed the couple’s approach to life and travel.

Before having children, both George and Amal frequently worked in dangerous areas around the world, including conflict zones.

But after welcoming their twins, the pair decided to scale back risky travel and prioritize family safety.

The Clooneys now split their time at an 18th-century estate near Brignoles in southern France.
