Angelina Jolie is making a major change after putting her Los Feliz estate on the market for $29.85 million, signaling what could be the beginning of a new chapter for both herself and her six children with ex-husband Brad Pitt.
The Oscar-winning actress purchased the historic Los Angeles property in 2017 for $25.5 million. Originally built for legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille, the sprawling estate sits on two acres inside the exclusive Laughlin Park neighborhood and offers sweeping views of the Hollywood Hills and Griffith Observatory. The 11,000-square-foot residence includes six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a guest cottage, tea house, swimming pool, and private gym.

Jolie has previously hinted that she does not plan to remain in the United States long-term. In a 2024 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she admitted she currently stays in Los Angeles because of her divorce arrangements, explaining that once her youngest children turn 18, she hopes to relocate abroad.
The actress has also spoken candidly about feeling disconnected from life in America in recent years, revealing that she has always considered herself deeply international due to her family, friendships, and worldview. She explained that privacy, peace, and security have become increasingly important while raising her large family.

Angelina shares six children with Brad Pitt: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne. With the twins approaching adulthood, speculation has grown that Jolie could soon make her long-discussed move overseas.

Her children are already forging their own paths. Vivienne has developed a strong interest in theater and helped produce the Tony-winning Broadway production The Outsiders alongside her mother, while Knox has largely stayed away from the spotlight, focusing on sports.
Meanwhile, Shiloh has been pursuing dance opportunities in Los Angeles and recently appeared in a music video, while Zahara is continuing her studies at Spelman College. Maddox and Pax have both worked behind the scenes on several of their mother’s film projects, including Maria and Couture.
